Casual dining gets a luxurious upgrade at Arcana Lounge
May it be a spontaneous trip to our comfort spots or a thoroughly-planned date, everybody appreciates a nice dinner out. Taking time out of one’s hectic schedule to just sit down and catch up with a loved one over an array of delicious food used to feel like a joy out of reach, especially in the thick of the pandemic. But as restrictions loosened and we found ourselves venturing into the great outdoors with less fear, restaurants continued to (re-)open and provide everyone the space to go back to our old ways. And with Arcana Lounge, casual dining gets a luxurious upgrade.
Located on the second floor of Greenhills’ Promenade Mall, Arcana Lounge aims to bring back the joy of casual gatherings by providing a premium experience to anyone. The establishment offers alfresco dining, indoor dining and exclusive private rooms for larger parties. Whether you’re looking for a spacious table for four or a cozy booth for you and your lover, Arcana Lounge has a spot that can house another intimate date.

Enjoy tasty dishes, ranging from filling bar chow and appetizing starters. At the exclusive media launch, head chef Ed Dimaculangan explains that the dishes include Filipino ingredients to bring familiar but subtle tastes to diners: “There’s a little bit of Philippine ingredients hidden [in our dishes], so we don’t ruin the taste of the classic dish.” He points to the Sisig Rolls, where Kapampangan-style sisig is wrapped into a roll using Southeast Asian rice paper.
But of course, Arcana Lounge boasts their main event: their array of steaks, ribs, lamb racks and seafood entrees. Sink your teeth into juicy Rib Eye Steak and flavorful Lamb Racks, personally handpicked by the chefs in Arcana Lounge. For those who aren’t options, seafood entrees such as delightful Pan-Seared Salmon and the rich Prawns Thermidor are also available.

But that’s not all. They also has an extensive selection of liquors and cocktails that compliments their offerings. We highly recommend sipping on the classic Gin and Basil Smash during dinner, especially those who play on the safe side for their beverages. Meanwhile, Arcana’s most controversial cocktail, Picnic, is one drink everyone should try. Its ingredient list brings together the unlikeliest combinations, but it only takes one sip to have you coming back for more.
