For all those in the marketing, advertising and digital spheres, get ready for a week-long conference that explores the Philippines’ booming and growing start-up scene.
The Internet & Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP)’s DigiCon Valley is finally taking place on October 10 to 14, 2022 with four program tracks that aim to set the tone for different brands’ digital agendas. With Launchpad, Hypergrowth, Breakthrough and Enterprise as the four main program tracks, we can expect to hear about the tactics of digital excellence, growth strategies, innovating and pushing boundaries in one’s field and becoming an established digital organization.
With exemplary keynote speakers that are professionals in their fields, we can expect only the best from this year’s DigiCon. A peak at the line-up includes CEO and Founder of Rappler, Maria Ressa, Huffington Post founder, Arianna Huffington, and internationally acclaimed marketing expert and academic, Mark Ritson.
This year, an exciting addition to DigiCon has been included to encourage networking among the participants of the conference. After-Hours is set to be evening face-to-face sessions that will be held for three days around Metro Manila. Set to happen on October 10, 12 and 15, these evening sessions will be hosted by GrabAds at The Penthouse, Hemphil at Xylo and Angkas at a location yet to be announced, respectively.
IMMAP’s DigiCon will also be co-presented by Angkas, the leading motorcycle, taxi and delivery platform in the Philippines. George Royeca, the CEO of Angkas, believes the country is ready to move forward and further in the tech and startup industries. Very fittingly, Angkas is an innovative platform that believes that training and supporting Filipinos is the foundation of a safe and professional app-enabled motorcycle taxi service.
