#AHallNewExperience for diners
I’m not fond of buffets—eat all you can within, say, two hours and no take outs sound like indigestion or a terrible food coma to me. For one, too many choices confuse me, I like to savor my food and if I can’t finish it, I’d like to be able to take it away to eat later.
The new Food Hall by Foodee Global Concepts has the hallmarks of a buffet given the per-station structure and that the menu as well as cuisine choices are aplenty but not overwhelming. Think of it as a food theater as the group likes to call it. It’s a good place to go for small to big groups when you guys just can’t decide what or where to eat. And with the Food Hall getting a facelift and menu upgrade, you ought to pay a visit soon. Here’s why:
Pound, Flatterie, Hook and The Grill Are All Here
“This time, we’re bringing all the restaurants we love under one roof,” says Eric Dee, Chief Operating Officer of Foodee Global Concepts. Hook, now exclusively available at Food Hall, serves seafood platters that come in Raw, Grilled and Fried, and are best enjoyed with refreshments that bring out their flavors and give you a little buzz. Try their Beer Battered Fish and Chips, Spicy Salted Egg Prawns and Torched Nigiri.

For the Italian food-loving diner, there’s Flatterie. Have a carb feast and dig into their extensive pasta and flatbread (read: pizza) menu. Pound’s selection of best-selling burgers—Double Backyard Cheeseburger and the Pound Foie Gras Burger— are pretty hard to resist, too. Finally, The Grill, a new addition to the Food Hall, is made for meat eaters who take their meat seriously. Sink your teeth into their wide variety of premium steaks and get this, priced affordably, too: Petite Rib Eye Steak (P890), Flat Iron Steak (P680), Braised Lamb Shank, The F.H. Half Chicken, Braised Beef Cheek and The F.H. Pork Chop.

They Have Lunch Sets
Being on a budget doesn’t mean you should settle for crappy food. At Food Hall, fixed lunch sets are available on weekdays. Choices include, the Pomodoro Pasta and Classic Margarita or Pomodoro Pasta and Pound x Pound Sliders combo for P285, Food Hall Chowder or Caesar Salad, Food Hall Pork Chop with Garlic Rice or Food Hall Chowder or Caesar Salad, Spicy Salted Egg Shrimp with Garlic Rice, for P365.
If you need any more reason to come here, I found that Food Hall is a great place to pre-game if you plan on going out for more drinks after dinner. They have a decent selection of wines and spirits, and the music is pretty good, too. Just wish they’d turn down the volume a bit.
Food Hall is located at the 5F SM Aura Premier, C5 Road Corner 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City and is open from 11AM to 3PM and 6PM to 11PM. Best to make reservations if you plan to dine here; call (2) 6214002 or (917) 8633364.
