Your First Look at IKEA Pasay City

Your First Look at IKEA Pasay City

Get lost in the biggest IKEA store in the world, IKEA Pasay City, a wonderland for all ages

We all have unforgettable stories of our own detailing our very first visit to IKEA, a seemingly rite of passage to adulthood. Mine was during the summer of 2014 during my first trip overseas to Japan. Now, gone are the days when shopping for furniture, storage organizers and everyday essentials can feel like a chore. Spending more time at home, especially in a pandemic, has awakened the amateur interior decorator within, as we constantly redesign our personal spaces.

Hej, Philippines! The long wait is over; IKEA Pasay City is finally here. There’s no more need to book a flight abroad to experience the endless wonderland for all ages. Opening to the public this Thursday, November 25, the biggest IKEA store in the country is located at Marina Way, Mall of Asia Complex. Get lost (literally) as you peruse through endless aisles.

Founded in 1953 by Ingvar Kamprad, IKEA originally started as a mail-order catalog business in Älmhult, Sweden in Europe. Now, the global home furnishing brand has taken over our homes, bringing affordability, design and comfort to all.

Level up your home organization skills & work from home setup with an IKEA upgrade, from the iconic pieces—like the BILLY bookcase, KLIPPAN sofa and the POÄNG armchair—with up to 10 years warranty, to trustworthy pieces for storage and organization, textiles and many more. It’s affordable Swedish designs made for everyday life, with steals—that make holiday gifting easier—for as low as P30. It’s a place to purchase both your home needs and nonessential indulgences!

Don’t forget to grab a bite at IKEA’s restaurant, where their famed—almost cult-like—meatballs and Crunchy Almond Cake are available. There’s even P10 soft serve ice cream available at the bistro after checking out to refuel you before heading home. It’s food that’s delicious, sustainable and nutritionally balanced!

Peruse IKEA Pasay City’s catalog online before you book your shopping slot. It’s better to be prepared; trust me, you’ll end up losing sight of what you came for, because of the seemingly endless array of furniture pieces. But maybe that can also be a good thing!

Book a slot prior to your visit here. All store visitors are required to register in-store using the StaySafe app. Pro-tip: Don’t forget to wear comfortable sneakers because you’re going to be walking a lot.
