A Look At The Vivo S1 Pro & A One-Style-Fits-All Philosophy

The Vivo S1 Pro claims to fit all lifestyles and aesthetics

People used to say that beauty is pain—think the ache of sky-high stilettos and the discomfort of body-con dresses—but things have changed. Now you can think athleisure, casual wear for the workplace and form-meets-function everything. More and more, brands are becoming attuned to (and cashing in on) our need for the stylish yet comfortable.

And today we’re talking about a new contender: The Vivo S1 Pro.

With its challenge to Claim Your Style, this latest from Vivo asserts that it’s the perfect pair for all lifestyles and aesthetics. So where else do we start but its design?

The Form

The Vivo S1 Pro comes in Knight Black and Fancy Sky, which means it’s pretty easy to dress up and dress down as you wish. It’s an accessory when you want it to be and a wallflower for whatever else you have in between.

Despite its camera setup—that’s a 32-megapixel front camera and a rear system that consists of a 48MP main camera, 2MP wide-angle, 2MP macro camera and 8MP secondary camera—the Vivo S1 Pro is still sleek and understated. And that diamond-shaped layout at the back of the phone that’s virtually flat? Definitely not an eyesore.

And for that on-trend full screen experience, the handheld also showcases a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display—beautiful, of course, but also great for streaming and viewing photos.

The Function

What’s pretty without some strength and substance to back it up, right?

First things first: The Vivo S1 Pro comes with a 4500mAh battery, so you know it will last you the entire day unless you never get off your screen. But in case you do drain it out, its fast charging feature will surely help you out. And in terms of power, the device has 8GB of ROM and runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 (based on Android 9). Its built in storage of 128ROM also means no tedious photo and/or video transfers after every month. You also have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 behind everything.

To make things simpler and more efficient for the user, the unit comes with in-display fingerprint scanning, as well as an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and an always-on screen feature.

It only helps that the Vivo S1 Pro retails for P15,999 in all authorized Vivo outlets, which makes it so easy to get a hold of. And if you’re not a fan of leaving the house during the holiday season, there’s always Lazada and Shopee.

Want to start the year with something new? Well, here ya go.
