The quarantine, with all its extensions and the surges of cabin fever it brings, is a truly strange time.
Notice how we’ve all picked up new hobbies? Everyone can now bake or cook or concoct their own fancy lattes. In just a few months, as if the world had been collectively enrolled into a comprehensive cooking class. We’ve kept ourselves plenty entertained, too, managing to burn a hole through our screens with all the watching we’ve been doing. Suddenly, the list of films we always swore we’d watch (but not really) has disappeared, subject to long nights of binge-watching in the same living room we’d spend the entire day in.
