We’re dancing to our favorite tunes IRL once more
I remember my first mall show experience. Back in 2014, Ayala Malls held A Summer Encounter with The 1975. Before shows at the MOA Arena, the British alternative band began with smaller stages in Philippine malls. Heck, I even recall asking my titas for their receipts at the department store just to get me inside the pit of fans all decked in black. After that, Ayala Malls continued bringing in more artists to play in their malls, reaching different audiences and fans through the effort. Unfortunately, these are one of the things we had to sacrifice because of the pandemic but no longer—because the return of live gigs is well underway. For their first agenda, Ayala Malls spotlights Filipino musicians.
With gigs popping up, Ayala Malls brings back the thrill of live music with ALive! Rising and established artists will take the stage in different spots across the country. Zack Tabudlo and Nadine Lustre rocked the stages last April. But that’s not all because hitmakers like Adie and Arthur Nery might just play in a mall near you. The Happy Plays Music Festival is also part of the lineup, featuring our favorite OPM acts like Imago, Moonstar88, Sandwich and more.
