All boards lead to Metrotent Convention Center for Vans Go Skateboarding Day 2019
Every year on June 21, skateboarding enthusiasts across the globe gather for the love of the sport, taking to known local skate spots for a worldwide celebration: it’s Go Skateboarding Day, the most popular skating movement series now on its 15th year.
In the Philippines, the annual skate holiday is hosted by Vans and takes place this Saturday, June 22, at Metrotent Convention Center, South Drive, Pasig.

“Off The Wall” since ‘66, Vans is considered the world’s original action sports label and has been around since the dawn of professional skateboarding. “Vans is rooted in skateboarding [and] we are proud to continue building strong connections with skaters and skate communities throughout Asia-Pacific region,” says Senior Marketing Director of Vans Asia-Pacific Mathew Morgan. “We have been supporting grassroots skateboarding culture in the Asia-Pacific region from day one and are committed to inspiring creative expression through skateboarding. Go Skateboarding Day is just one of the many examples showcasing how Vans joins forces with local skate communities to provide a creative platform for all.”
Apart from bringing together the largest number of skateboarders in a single venue, Go Skateboarding Day 2019 unites over 80 local skate communities and shops across the Asia-Pacific region. This joining of forces means skateboarding enthusiasts can score cash prizes at the event, enjoy custom obstacles all day and join fun games where they can win exciting prizes.

Registration closes at 12 noon on June 21, Friday. All participants must bring their signed printed waivers on the day of the event and present it to the Online Registration express lane.
