Live Nation acquires MMI and appoints Rhiza Pascua as Managing Director

“Artist-powered, fan-driven.” The world’s leading live entertainment company, Live Nation, expands into the Philippines, through the groundbreaking, strategic acquisition of Music Management International (MMI). To further the launch of Live Nation Philippines, MMI CEO and founder, Rhiza Pascua, has been appointed to the role of Managing Director.
Since MMI’s inception three decades ago, the company has been the leading promoter in the Philippines, working diligently with the biggest artists—like One Direction, Madonna, Coldplay, U2, Harry Styles and Bruno Mars—to convince them to tour Manila. The company has played a big role in putting the country firmly on the global touring map of Asia, promoting the most sold out concerts in the territory.
President of Live Nation Asia Pacific, Roger Field, is elated with this expansion. He reveals, “Rhiza is a formidable operator and has put the Philippines firmly on the global touring map.
