UP Fair Dimensions is here and ready to transport you to a different world
With the UP Fair making a comeback, the iconic Sunken Garden of UPD has been transformed into a whole new world with enchanting lineups of Filipino musicians. This is a long-standing tradition of the university, which is finally transitioning back to the physical setting after years of having it online.
ICYDK, the UP Fair is a weeklong event that, in true iskolar ng bayan fashion, zeroes in on a different advocacy each day. Time flies fast; we can’t believe we’re already halfway through this year’s fair! UP Fair Dimensions is coming up next, where sustainable and pro-people transportation will be taking the limelight.
On the 16th of February, music will be flooding Sunken Garden as 19 Filipino artists are set to take the stage. To name a few acts to look forward to, part of the lineup are Adie, Unique Salonga, Mayonnaise, Itchyworms, Al James and so much more! With artists this diverse, everyone is sure to enjoy the festival.
So, how can you get tickets? There will be a walk-in ticket selling on D-Day! Set your alarms and prepare your snacks—the selling will begin at 10AM and, with an amazing lineup (hand-in-hand with important advocacies), a long queue is expected. For this wave, 1,600 tickets will be sold, with a maximum of two per person. The price stands at P200 each for UP students and P300 for outsiders, so ready your cash (or GCash). Be part of the thousands who not only enjoy music and support OPM artists, but also amplify the call for a people-centered transportation system. And if you need more convincing, know that UP Fair Dimensions will also be forwarding assistance to the Ecosoc Scholars of the Economics Society Scholarship Program and the jeepney drivers of the UP Transport Group.
That’s pretty much everything you need to know about the world that awaits you! We hope to see you become part of the movement—and don’t forget to have fun.
