If you've exhausted all possible options—from The Crown to The Queen's Gambit and even your most recent K-Drama binge—you might find that other streaming platforms offer a variety of splendid TV series worth your while. Ahead, our anti-holiday TV picks for the long Christmas break.

The Undoing

The mystery psychological thriller and limited television miniseries based on the novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz stars some of Hollywood's biggest A-list stars: Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman. An affluent and successful therapist from New York finds herself amid a public uproar when a mother at her son's elite private school is murdered. The main suspect? Her devoted husband.

Euphoria

Emmy Award winner Zendaya returns in Euphoria's two-part special. The episodes will bridge the gap to the much-awaited second season, which has been delayed due to the pandemic. The first episode Part 1: Rue has already aired on HBO last December 6, meanwhile the second episode Part 2: Jules airs on January 24.

Lovecraft Country

You can't ever go wrong with Jordan Peele. Lovecraft Country, based on Matt Ruff's 2016 dark fantasy horror novel, follows Atticus Freeman (Jonathan Majors), his friend Letitia (Jurnee Smollett) and his uncle George (Courtney B. Vance) as they embark on a perilous journey across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father.

Yes, Grey's Anatomy is still on air—and we're still verily obsessed. You may have already seen the big spoilers for the latest season of the longest-running medical drama on American television, but there's still reason to catch it. Fans are speculating that this may just be the last season of Shonda Rhimes' award-winning series, so they're going all out and bringing back beloved characters from the past.

The film captures the range of emotions tied to wanting your family’s acceptance, being true to yourself and trying not to ruin Christmas.
