One of our favorite makeup brands just released a brow-raising game changer
With great brows come great responsibility—or should we say: With great brows come several great products on the makeup table? Generally speaking, the brows call for more products than any other part of our face. There’s gel to keep the hair in place, tweezers or wax to shape and pomade, powder or pencil to fill in (not to mention brushes, blenders and spoolies for that natural finish).
And as people begin to continue mastering the art of the brow, more products like concealer have only been added to the mix.
But hey, Benefit recently launched the latest notch in their brow line—the Benefit Brow Contour Pro—and it looks like it might just change the game. This new kid on the block promises great-looking brows in just four steps—neatly and chicly packaged, of course.
The pen looks like it jumped straight out of our childhoods, but you and I both know it isn’t for kids. The Benefit Brow Contour Pro comes with four pencils, easily labeled Lighter Shade, Deeper Shade, Definer and Highlighter—and you use them in that same order.
Step 1: Lighter Shade
Start filling in your brows with the Lighter Shade from the start to arch of your brows[/one-half-first] [one-half]
Step 2: Darker Shade
Then continue from the arch to the end of your brows with the Darker Shade[/one-half-first] [one-half]
Step 3: Definer
Because you’re human, clean up any messes with the Definer. Below your brow, begin at the start of your brows and blend once you get to the arch. Above your brow, apply and blend from the arch to the end.
Step 4: Highlighter
Apply Highlighter right beneath your Arch and blend outwards.[/one-half-first] [one-half]
Does the Benefit Brow Contour Pro amaze and blow all other brow products out of the water? Perhaps not. What this new offering does, however, is make the entire process easier and more efficient.
Traveling? Need retouches throughout the night? Want to start your brow game strong and solid? Well, who’re you gonna call?
