If you, like me, at some point have ogled the eye-catching neon and pastel-colored products of Drunk Elephant at Sephora during the occasional trip abroad (or even online), here’s some good news: The global brand with a skin-first approach—driven by science and supported by research—is finally in Manila!
For Tiffany Masterson, founder of Drunk Elephant, the philosophy behind the award-winning brand is simply eliminating unnecessary, harmful ingredients for a total skin reset—and an uncomplicated, no-frills experience! As a “frustrated, confused brand-hopper,” she had skin issues, which no selection of products couldn’t seem to remedy—so she created her own.

Identifying the “Suspicious 6,” ingredients that were the root of Masterson’s skin issues, helped her skin return to a healthy, balanced state. These worrisome bunch include essential oils, silicones, chemical sunscreens, SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), fragrances and dyes, plus drying alcohols.
