The Best of BLACKPINK’s Jennie With Chanel In 2022

The Best of BLACKPINK’s Jennie With Chanel In 2022

We’re echoing it: Jennie is the “Human Chanel”

Events and runway front rows may be crowded, but there’s always room to admire BLACKPINK’s Jennie—especially with her head-to-toe takes on luxury with Chanel. Since 2017, the South Korean superstar has been owning the spotlight as the French fashion house’s brand ambassador. No matter where she is—a stage, a set, a fashion show or even a local restaurant—Jennie embodies the brand and has made her name synonymous with it.

2022 has been a significant year for the muse’s partnership with Chanel. From start to finish, we’ve seen Jennie carry its class and charm, the combination of which lures us in every time. And now, we praise the year of Chanel by reliving some of the best times Jennie reminded the world of the brand’s signatures pieces.

The year started with Jennie as one of the new faces for the 2022 Coco Crush campaign. To mark Elle Korea’s synergy with the fine jewelry collection, Jennie posed for six different covers for its February issue. Her Chanel ensembles were changed, but the accessories remained. Jennie stunned sporting Coco Crush rings, bracelets and necklaces in both white gold and beige gold. She also donned the Première Édition Originale watch in yellow gold and black leather.

Jennie welcomed the Chanel Fall-Winter 2022/23 Collection in braids and an embroidered black velvet attire (that we’re still in love with, TBH). The muse arrived at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris with so much admiration for Virginie Viard’s runway—she was even dressed from the pre-collection! Sitting in the front row, Jennie easily stole the show with Chanel Fine Jewelry necklaces and Coco Crush rings, too. And her Chanel Boy clutch was an entirely different event in itself.

Dubbed as the “Human Chanel” by Blinks, Jennie was W Korea’s July cover star, decked out in an all-Chanel ensemble. She stuck with dark shades that complimented her faux freckles and then-ash brown hair in all four covers this time around. The sophisticated-yet-edgy take on the brand kept the balance between Jennie’s double C-shaped face gem and her black pleated skirt. She sported an oversized contrast trim jacket on, styled with a printed gray maxi skirt or a pair of black stockings—paired perfectly with a Chanel Vintage CC ring.

Different from her first front row look this year, Jennie returned to the Grand Palais Éphémère in a knitted white mini-dress and cardigan for the Chanel Spring-Summer 2022/23 Collection. Vibrant shades of pink, blue and green brought out the branding in her attire, while a floral statement earring and a hair scrunchie completed her bubbly vibe. The superstar strut down the streets of Paris with black knee-high boots, proudly representing Viard’s latest campaign for Chanel.
