Think: sun-drenched weekends in the French countryside
This spring/summer 2022, Longchamp celebrates French art de vivre with nods to countryside elements such as colorful earthenware and crisp linens. With traveling already on our minds as the world returns to normal, let Longchamp whisk you away to a sunny weekend in Provence wearing the key theme of the collection: linen.

Coming off of a successful collaboration with Filt, the French label teams up with Charvet, purveyor of the finest French linen tea towels since 1866, this time around to create the new season’s iteration of the Le Pliage: a white linen tote bag with red and blue stripes. A tribute to traditional craftsmanship, tea-towel stripes and checks make an appearance across Longchamp’s ready-to-wear collection. From mini shift dresses to sun hats and sneakers, spring/summer pieces feature both broad and narrow stripes. Other notable details include artisanal inspirations from brightly colored earthenware, Provençal boutis embroidery and soft floral patterns of traditional counterpanes. And while the collection’s palette is predominantly neutral, it’s offset by bursts of yellow, coral, green and blue. This holds especially true for the season’s traditional straw baskets, bucket bags and the emblematic Roseau reimagined in a bucket shape and made with supple grained leather and LGP jacquard canvas.
Longchamp’s spring/summer 2022 collection may have been made with a Provençal summer in mind, but it’s designed for life in bustling cities, from Paris to Manila and beyond.
Longchamp is exclusively available at Rustan’s Makati, Rustan’s Shangri-La, Rustan’s Cebu, Greenbelt 5 and Rustans.com.
