Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Gets a Reboot and Heads Online

Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Gets a Reboot and Heads Online

The country’s biggest fashion event puts all its shows on streaming for the very first time

After postponing its original 2021 showcase in April due to the surge of COVID-19 cases, Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival (PMFF) is back to reset its Season 12 plans.

For frequent attendees, some obvious changes stand out. Season 12 marks the beginning of a new chapter for Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival as GO Lifestyle Group steps in to spearhead the five-day event. Behind the scenes as well, the country’s largest annual fashion showcase is now made possible by two other powerhouse production companies: AC Design Yard and JCA Productions.

Yet another evident change in direction is the show format this year. For the first time ever, all collections will premiere online via the brand-new MFF website. “MFF will not be what it was in 2019––with fashion editors, influencers and fashion enthusiasts making time to attend and be seated in the front row of the venue,” shared the organizers in the official press release. “In adherence to strict health guidance set by our government, MFF will be showcasing designers’ collections via streaming on our new home: mff-official.com.”
