But with everything slowly opening up, there's more reason to get back out there and indulge yourself with a pamper day—from a signature facial and a hair color transformation to bespoke lash extensions. This time around, I tried the sought-after Strokes Bespoke Vegan Lash Extensions service, the ultra-lightweight option for day-to-day. Made with hypo-allergenic polysynthetic fiber, it looks and feels the same as natural lashes, which has always been my gripe with faux lashes—they always feels heavy.
The Classic Natural Bespoke (P2,000) gives me that Instagram filter, but IRL. After an eyelash bath to remove excess oil and mascara I placed prior to the appointment, then an hour-long process—a midday snooze is inevitable—to strategically place the lashes, I had the natural-looking, lightweight lashes of my dreams.
The brand highlights the important role of eye beauty in everyday confidence, and I have to concur. Lash extensions simply give that boost without going the extra mile to get camera-ready, especially for early Zoom meetings from home. There is that dilemma of maintaining the last extensions, but a quick touch-up in-store (within 14 days after the procedure) remedies it.
Choose from their other Bespoke Lash Extensions services like the Classic Volume Bespoke (P2,500), which feels lightweight but glamorous; perfect for a special event like a wedding to attend over the weekend. Go textured but ultralight with a Wispy Bespoke (P3,500), or try a Wing Bespoke (P3,500) for a light winged eye look.
For newbies like myself, lash extensions treatment after-care is simple, no water and oil after the procedure for 24 hours. A spoolie freebie will also be given so you can brush your lashes daily for 10 to 15 seconds, to make it look lush.

It's been a few days since my visit to Strokes Eye Beauty Studios' prestige location at Shangri-la Plaza, and my Bespoke Lash Extensions still look good as new. Petition to look like this *forever*!
