The Grand Hyatt BGC will once again open its doors for StyleFestPH year 2, an immersive three-day expo
Globe’s lifestyle label 0917, joining forces with SAGA Events, continues its foray into the fashion space this year with StyleFestPH. Back for a bigger sophomore run, the event puts a new crop of young designers in the spotlight as they take part in the highly-anticipated Designer Mentorship Program (DMP). The fashion festival’s stylecouncil, mentors comprised of prominent industry figures set to coach the finalists through the showcase-cum-competition, also welcomes its newest member: international fashion designer Carl Jan Cruz.
“[We’ve] always been supportive of the development of the country’s fashion industry––its new blood, the awe-inspiring ideas and the bold designs that keep it alive,” shared 0917 Lifestyle Head Leah De Guzman. “[StyleFestPH year 2] is our way to give our young designers a venue to express their creativity and provide them with the means to reach a wider local audience and even the international market.”
In addition, StyleFestPH will play host to a series of runway shows, exclusive shopping parties and fashion forums as part of its three-day lineup. This all takes place at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City on November 4, 5 and 6, 2019. See the complete list of events right below:

Beyond the clothing, guests can gain insights and inspiration from the industry’s success stories through the Designers on Spotlight, a series of talks highlighting important aspects of fashion and digital business. The first part, dubbed “Roots,” will focus on support for local artisans and promoting the use of culturally-rich clothing such as jusi and t’nalak, featuring designers Paloma Zobel, Chris Nick, Jor-El Espina and Mark Bumgarner, and will be held on November 4. Boom Sason, on the other hand, will unveil looks from her newest collection on November 5, while Bang Pineda takes the limelight on November 6.
The six designers will also be presenting their new collections during the three-day fashion event. What’s more, selected items will also be available for purchase by the audience after the shows.
Finally, trend forecasting agency Fashion Snoops will give a talk about trends, where the industry is headed and understanding the consumer market on November 6. This comes with industry-insider details on how to strategize and make a fashion campaign click.
