PSA: The new release from Sunnies Studios is responsibly made with recycled polyester
Summer paves way for the inescapable, agonizing heat, and we’re coping with out-of-town getaways with family and friends plus hubadera-friendly OOTDs to sport on the daily. And no summer-ready attire is complete without the essential eyewear.
Enter Sunnies Studios’ Offbeat Classics Collection, responsibly made with biodegradable acetate or recycled polyester. The cool girl/guy specs launch consists of four timeless styles to include in your rotation: Alba (a chunky, rounded cateye frame), Bobbi (a semi-chunky rounded square frame), Rio (a chunky oval frame) and Wolf (a classic square frame). These offbeat classics are perfect for the summer you’ve been waiting for!

Sunnies Studios pledges to utilize reusable, recyclable and biodegradable materials in their roster of products. The Filipino-owned brand introduces biodegradable acetate, plant-based plastic and recycled polyester into the making of their eye wear. Through this commitment, they hope to gradually phase out the use of virgin plastic.
This commitment to sustainability means using less fossil-based materials, minimizing their carbon footprint and reducing plastic waste, all while creating high-quality products. As of writing, 77% of new developments are already made from responsible materials.
