Continue to add heart to that cart
Unilever strengthens its message of giving back as they teamed up with Shopee for its annual #BeautyThatCares last August 29 to 31. This time, the multinational brand gave a portion of the proceeds to small local businesses affected by the pandemic through Mano Amiga’s Skills for Success Grant and Training Program.
Mano Amiga is an organization that aims to empower people and communities through education and development initiatives to help microentrepreneurs, such as sari-sari store owners and online sellers, start, sustain or scale their business. As a partner for #BeautyThatCares campaign, Shopee welcomed these small businesses onto their platform, allowing them more opportunities for growth and sales without increasing their operational costs.
To make it more special, Unilever also partnered with some of their brand ambassadors including Laureen Uy, Ylona Garcia and Aryanna Epperson to curate limited edition Beauty Care Kits available during the sale. Each kit also contains a face mask designed by the brand ambassadors.
