Sarah Lahbati is named the new face of Tessera Jewelry

The Filipino jewelry brand has decided to tap one of its long-time clients as its first ambassador

Here’s a luxury trend that brands have noticed even amid turbulent times: more and more women are buying their own diamonds. According to local jewelry boutique Tessera, the diamond market is seeing a shift away from the tradition wherein men gift their partners with diamonds. Women today are buying these investment pieces for themselves. This was the case for celebrity Sarah Lahbati, a long-time Tessera woman whom the brand named its first-ever ambassador in early August 2022.

After having been gifted diamonds, Lahbati wanted to invest in diamond jewelry on her own, too. This is how she found Tessera, one of the country’s most extensive collections of conflict-free, naturally mined diamonds. “Unlike expensive shoes, bags and dresses that go out of style, diamonds will never go out of style,” shares Lahbati. “It’s something you can wear with anything every day or at special events. I think it’s such a smart investment for women and men to make nowadays.”

The announcement of Lahbati as Tessera’s first ambassador coincided with the brand’s celebration of its 10 years in the business: a celebration, too, of the new, very personal way women perceive the investment in diamonds.

Tessera is located at 38 Rockwell in Makati City and The Arton Strip in Quezon City.

Gucci introduces their versatile new handbag: The Attache

Hook, adjust and wear it however you like—the newest piece is a dual-use essential

Gucci brings a new piece into their handbag lineup: the Gucci Attache. Classic sensibilities get transported and transformed for modern needs, specifically for versatile uses the Attache provides. Much like the French word for “hook,” the handbag comes with a metal G that doubles as a hook, allowing the wearer to close the bag from a half-moon shape to a circular silhouette, depending on the style they hope to have that day. The pouch also offers interchangeable straps that can convert it into a shoulder bag, cross-body bag or a handbag, perfect for those looking for a statement piece that’s both stylish and versatile.

Dress effortlessly chic with UNIQLO and INES DE LA FRESSANGE

In this upcoming collection, the French designer creates uniforms made for your unique style

For her newest Fall/Winter collection for UNIQLO, Ines de la Fressange returns to the uniform's structure or the guiding fashion standard. Instead, the designer takes cues from men’s fashion and work details while transforming them for softer materials to create a collection that combines comfort, style and individuality. Of course, this also means dressing for lower temperatures. The collection includes padded shirt jackets, pea coats, chino pants, cardigans and sweaters made with 3D knits. All these come in a rich selection of neutral and vivid colors, creating a varied collection fit for all.

Ines de la Fressange’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection hits the UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store in Glorietta 5 and online through the official website on September 9.
