Givenchy Introduces Their Spring/Summer 2022 Global Campaign for your Wardrobe

First, Givenchy releases their 2022 Spring/Summer global collection produced by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams and shot by Korean-born German photographer Heji Shin. Moreover, for this collection, they collaborate with American artist Josh Smith, whose signature vibrant brushstrokes and colors challenge the muted campaign materials—a peek into the balance they strike through the RTW collection. As seen above, Kendall Jenner and He Cong carry Givenchy’s statement purse for this season: the Kenny. The delicate, bourse-style handbag embellished with Givenchy’s signature G-Cube makes it a versatile and functional day-to-night piece.

For the brand’s Fall/Winter 2022 ready-to-wear collection, designer Kim Jones draws inspiration from FENDI’s archives. The key motifs that recurred throughout the looks would be the incorporation of feminine silhouettes with masculine fabrics. Models appeared in cropped fur jackets paired with chiffon pieces, and leather corset tops matched with denim trousers. Softness and structure meet in the middle, as the collection bends the ideas of the masculine and feminine, formality and function.
Gucci Introduces Its New Eye Wear Collection
French musician Lou Doillon and Chinese actress Ni Ni headline the campaign.
Inspired by the thrill of music and travel, Gucci’s newest eyewear collection centers around the miles counted by musicians on tour. Their buses double as a means for transport and as their homes for months on end. Through the collection, Gucci captures the magic of bold creativity that thrives in that space. Their newest eyewear feature retro-inspired frames. Check out the 50s-era large round frames as seen on Doillon, and Ni Ni’s oversized glasses reminiscent of the 80s.
Gucci Introduces Star-Studded Cast for Gucci Love Parade
Snoop Dogg, Miley Cyrus, Jared Leto, Lee Jungjae and more appear in the brand’s newest campaign.
Gucci debuts the advertisement for Gucci Love Parade with a seductive sequence. The star-studded cast of Beanie Feldstein (Booksmart), Deng Lun, Jared Leto (House of Gucci), Lee Jungjae (Squid Game), Liu Wen, Miley Cyrus and Snoop Dogg revel in the high of the party. It ends in a closely packed dancefloor, all the while over the hypnotizing song of The Velvet Underground’s Venus In Furs. Upon the first look at the Gucci Love Parade collection back in October 2021, Alessandro Michele pens his love for beauty. This collection pays homage to the magnetic aura of Hollywood, especially through a play on different textures.
Uniqlo Drops Their Spring/Summer 2022 Collection
The brand also launches the sixth volume of their LifeWear Magazine.
Additionally, for Spring/Summer 2022, Japanese retail brand UNIQLO highlights The Joys of Clothing. May it be from the city and nature to the seaside or lounging around on a daily, the brand’s newest collection of LifeWear encourages all to keep it comfortable, fresh, and also functional. Followers of the brand’s UT Tees can also expect shirts with Joshua Vides’ monochromatic Mickey Mouse art and prints from long-standing collective Magnum Photos. Long-time UNIQLO collaborators and designers Hana Tajima, Inés de la Fressange, and JW Anderson also offer individual collections with different aesthetics. All the while, their creations remain grounded in the central theme of joy.
Along with the collection’s launch, UNIQLO releases the sixth volume of their LifeWear Magazine called The Joys of Clothing, highlighting our positive relationship with clothing. The free publication features an interview with filmmaker Sofia Coppola and explores the history between UNIQLO and JW Anderson.
