This month is about sheer self-expression and dressing up just because
This month’s Wonder Wardrobe celebrates dressing for you and sheer self-expression. It is, after all, the month of all hallow’s eve (and Samhain for those who celebrate) and we love a good reason to gussy up whether to ward off ghosts or just because. So go ahead and wear that upcycled piece with oversized frills and florals without shame. Whip out that croc-embossed leather jacket you’ve been waiting for an occasion to wear. Tis the season to dress as you, your alter ego or your favorite fictional character.
Allow us to guide you through with a roundup of fresh releases from new and beloved brands, and some takes on the latest trends across fashion and style.

The fall/ winter 2023 collection is here and its minimalist with nods to 50s Italian architecture
Furla’s latest collection takes inspiration from utilitarian pieces and modern workwear to create bags and accessories that are clean and minimalist in aesthetic. But without missing a beat, the brand combines its new look with Italy’s splendid architecture and landscapes, and fall-friendly colorways.
Furla’s fresh new lineup heroes the Unica Furla, Furla Flow and Furla Giove, among other bags. The Unica Furla is a reinterpretation of a 90s icon but maintains the the classic metal turn-lock closure, while the Flow is a sleek and elegant bag that highlights the brand’s Arch monogram. The Giove, on the other hand, is designed to be your one true travel companion thanks to its square shape, roomy interior and adjustable handles.
Peep the full collection online via Trunc.ph, Rustans.com and ssilife.com.ph or when you visit Furla stores in Central Square, Bonifacio High Street Central, Greenbelt 5, Newport Mall, Power Plant Mall, Rustan’s Makati and Shangri-La Plaza East Wing. United Colors of Benetton
The beloved Italian brand returns to Manila
90s favorite Italian fashion brand United Colors of Benetton is back and has set up shop in two key shopping destinations: Shangri-La Mall in Ortigas and SM Mall of Asia in Pasay. “I am personally, immensely proud to be leading the group relaunching the brand here in the Philippines,” says Hans Clifford Yao, Co-Founder of Metaretail Ventures, Inc. which brought the brand to the Philippines.
The store opening also featured a mini fashion show, featuring the brand’s spring collection under the new creative direction of Andrea Incontri. The collection itself is fruity and fresh but stays true to Benetton’s design principles—cosmopolitan and smart. It also keeps key elements such as knits, bold, bright colors, and signature stripes.
United Colors of Benetton is expected to open at Okada Manila this November 2023 along with more stores across Metro Manila. For more updates, follow United Colors of Benetton’s official Instagram and Facebook page (@benetton).
