Out of Order: A Beauty Editorial
Risk where there were once rules, chance where there was once constriction
If passing trends and those through-the-decades compilation videos have taught us anything, it’s that beauty possesses a lovely malleability. Like weathered stone and the turning tides, the standards of beauty today no longer ring synonymous to what they once were.
Riding the upswing of self-expression, painting faces and coloring outside pages is a statement of its own. Knocking the system over, raising middle fingers at the once revered idea of perfection. Things are changing.
The ugly and the pretty are no longer opposites.
This is beauty in present tense.
