Comfy AF! A Fashion Editorial Featuring Vans
Janine Luna goes mattress surfing in puffy pieces, slinky ensembles and light-as-air sneakers
In this daydreamy fashion story, Wonder’s latest muse Janine Luna settles in and feels right at home wearing Vans’ comfiest sneaker selection yet. The original action sports brand’s ComfyCush Era, Knit UltraRange Gore, Brux WC and ComfyCush Distort Old Skool all get a turn in the blanket fort ahead (where literal couch and mattress surfing eventually ensue).
The editorial, lensed by fashion photographer Erwin Canlas, sees to it that cool, crisp whites on set are disrupted by the rather offbeat ensembles—maximalist looks featuring Wilbur Lang, Salad Day, HA.MU and Tie Diet that are in no way print or color shy.
For beauty, makeup artist Sylvina Lopez presents two prospects: a natural-looking flush for balance and, going the other way, a vibrant eye look that further plays up all the color. Hairstylist JA Feliciano, meanwhile, keeps tresses nice and relaxed through and through with face framing waves, a loose ponytail and unassuming plaits.
The rest reverts to a story about piling on texture and taking on a fluffy, puffy jacket or two.

If you’ve pored through enough of our stories here on Wonder, you would know we have a knack for dedicating entire tributes to the things that strike our fancy. Good headwear had its moment in September. Just last month came the turn of the StyleFestPH Class of 2019.
You can bet there’s more where that came from; tap here to check out the archive of Wonder visuals.
