In the Philippines, Jose Mari Chan is king of the holidays. Seriously, we couldn’t stop public areas from playing Christmas In Our Hearts even if we wanted to; they’re unstoppable. But elsewhere in the world, there is a queen of Christmas songs and her name is Mariah Carey.
There are a lot of musicians that have released Christmas songs—originals and covers, alike—but none have cemented their way into our hearts, minds and holiday playlists quite like her.
