If there’s one thing we can count on every year, it’s that Wanderland Festival steps up its game every year. With performers like Foals, Omar Apollo, Ben&Ben and IV of Spades among its list of acts for next year (and that isn’t even half of their wave one lineup, mind you), this year is no exception. It’s no wonder, then, why local bands look at the yearly Wanderbattle contest as a shining beacon of musical hope––if it’s a shot to get their name out there that they’re looking for, there’s really no better place to try their luck.
Following the online voting period, the pool of ten Wanderbattle Manila bands has been whittled down to six semi-finalists.
