Arabica Manila BGC Roastery, the coffee retailer’s flagship store in the country, pays homage to Filipino culture and history
Arabica Manila Mitsukoshi BGC opened to the public in July 2023, attracting the Japanese coffee retailer’s devoted fans who were crushed by its sudden closing during the pandemic. This time around, the flagship store of Arabica Philippines, the Arabica Manila BGC Roastery, opens in the country and pays homage to Filipino culture and history.
As Global Store No. 166 and Manila Store No. 2, Arabica collaborated with award-winning Japanese architectural experts No. 10 of Nomura Co. Ltd., weaving together Filipino elements of the past and future, seamlessly merging the allure of modern urban landscapes with the charm of traditional brick-made houses from old-town Manila (see: Intramuros). Visitors can also survey the unique roastery room nestled on the mezzanine.
