The Who’s Who Of The S Maison x Auro World Chocolate Fair

The Who’s Who Of The S Maison x Auro World Chocolate Fair

Another great chocolate moment from Auro

Last weekend was the S Maison x Auro World Chocolate Fair, which promised deliciously mouth-watering desserts that feature—what else?—Auro chocolate. As a fan of the brand, I scooped up the assignment without hesitation and made my way to the Mall of Asia Complex one busy Friday afternoon.

And who did I meet there? Let me make the introductions.

Auro Chocolate

Front and (a little off-) center was Auro Chocolate.

The shining star of the show—and there were many—had to be Auro Chocolate. Proudly local, the brand really has made a name for itself in the industry for its quality. After all, why else would the other brands decide to partner with them if not for that?

Black Sheep Coffee

There’s something for everyone here.

On the other side of the coffee battle, facing the big guns, is Black Sheep Coffee. Subtle, true to its mission and friendly from all sides, Black Sheep Coffee deserves to be on your radar.

Rainy season or not, BLK513 is always a good idea.

Frozen yogurt was a big thing a few years ago, but you can’t kill something when it becomes part of a culture. BLK513 is relatively new to the market, but that’s the exact reason why they’re so exciting. Where else are you going to see (and taste) a masterpiece of a chocolate swirl?

Conrad Manila

Classic, meet contemporary.

When all you want is the comfort of something that you grew up with, there are few that beat out Conrad Manila. There’s a level of experience that comes with age—and a sense of nostalgia that always hits home.

The Dessert Museum

Fun and flavorful.

The colors of The Dessert Museum don’t exactly scream chocolate, but sometimes you have to take a bite out of life before you get to the center of it. Besides, a little color never killed anyone, right?

Half Saints

The chocolate tart is a dream for anyone with a little obsessive compulsive disorder.

Where others cheap out on the chocolate to get the most surface room from it, Half Saints isn’t afraid to keep things simple—you’ll want nothing else, anyway.

Le Sucre Lab

Two words: Chocolate Dreamcake.

Sweet dreams are definitely made of this. Or, at least, if you like just a hint of sugar and a mouthful of true cocoa.

Olivia & Co.

It’s hard to dive right into their offerings without taking a photo first, huh?

You might think you know your favorite dessert places, but you your top 3 list might just shuffle around after a forkful of Olivia & Co.’s cake slices.

Embarrassed to say it took me a while to get the name, but…I was too busy salivating.

They say that when you eat, you eat with your eyes first. And if you’re one of those who believe this to be true, then you’ll get full from just a look at Overdoughs’ offerings. Not that you’ll need a lot of time to convince yourself to take that bite, anyway.

Poison Coffee & Doughnuts

Don’t let the name scare you; their doughnuts are nothing but deadly good.

Poison believes in giving the people—the unique and in-need-of-caffeine—what they want. It calls itself the antithesis of a sunny neighborhood café. Aesthetically true, tastefully false.

The S Maison x Auro World Chocolate Fair may already be behind us, but there are ways to still get your hands on the products of our favorite participants. In fact, you’ll find several of them at S Maison, Mall of Asia Complex.

See ya there? ?
