Tokyo Meets Paris: A First Look at Café Kitsuné Manila

Oui! Café Kitsuné Manila finally opens it doors at The Podium

The cat—or the fox, rather—is out of the bag! The French-Japanese electronic music record label and fashion label Kitsuné (or Maison Kitsuné) has finally opened its very first café in the Philippines, Café Kitsuné. Available in locations like Paris, London, Tokyo and Seoul, the specialty coffee retailer is now open in Manila, located at The Podium.

Inspired by the best of both worlds—Tokyo and Paris—this space is a modernist reinterpretation of the classic Parisian café and wine bar with its signature atmosphere and aesthetics. Marrying the simplistic beauty of small, intimate coffee bars with the style of everything that the global brand undertakes, the luxe space is a perfect mix of comfort and sophistication.

It’s all-day brunching made possible, from quick and filling bites to full-on savory meals. And no meal is complete without a signature drink! Known for being full-bodied and flavorsome, it cultivates its single-origin coffee beans in Brazil and Guatemala, and are roasted with the utmost care.

Choose from a diverse selection of bestselling hot and cold drinks: the Iced Spanish Latte (P220), White Matcha (P190), Mocaccino (P220), Affogato (P220), Yuzu Honey (P160), Cascarra Fizz (P190) and more.

Come hungry! The space carries classic meals, and favorites amongst loyal customers, such as its signature Café Kitsuné Burger, styled as a beef teriyaki tartare with bacon, fried egg and comté (P670); the Croque-Monsieur with tuna, lemongrass and ginger and the café’s specialty bechamel sauce (P460); and the Seared Salmon with crispy skin-on salmon, soybean gravy, tomato butter sauce and potatoes (P630).

We always have room for dessert! Finish off with delectable and dreamy pastries and cakes, like the iconic Café Kitsuné Fox Shortbread (P145), the crowd favorite Yuzu Macaron Cake (P320), the luscious Lemon & Miso Caramel Meringue Tart (P215), the classic Strawberry Shortcake (P425) and more.

Manila customers can also expect its collection of accessories and tableware.
