The Philippines’ leading HIV service provider further broadens its reach
Local non-profit organization LoveYourself, Inc. has announced its expansion in order to reach more people in need of HIV-related services, such as free HIV testing, counseling, treatment and life coaching. This announcement comes just in time for World AIDS Day, the annual commemoration that calls attention to the HIV epidemic, raises awareness on HIV/AIDS and looks to unite individuals to battle HIV stigma and discrimination.

At the Spectrum 2.0 event held on November 24, the community-based group presented a total of seven new community centers and clinics. These are in addition to the six existing community centers: Anglo in Mandaluyong, Welcome in Manila, Victoria in Pasay, Lily in Parañaque, Hero in Bacoor and White House in Cebu.Â
The new community centers include Athena by LoveYourself in North Caloocan, Bagani by LoveYourself in Bacolod City, Luxecare Starmall EDSA-Shaw and Luxecare Alabang. All four facilities are now operational with up-and-coming community centers located in Baguio and a center for the Home for the Golden Gays also in the pipeline. In order to safely carry out services amid the pandemic, LoveYourself Inc. has also put adaptive measures in place. Online consultations are now done via the interactive consultation service iCON, while medicine refills are done through Xpress by LoveYourself. This ensures hassle-free, dependable treatment for those living with HIV.
All sexual health and trans-health services, from testing to treatment, are now done online as well; all individuals have to do is set an appointment via the official Booking by LoveYourself link. To confirm an appointment, simply select a service from LoveYourself’s menu, choose a community center, provide the requested personal information and indicate the preferred date and time of the appointment. A self-assessment for COVID risk is required in order to complete an appointment. A final email confirmation will then finalize the booking.
