At the event, Unprude creator Doc Rica Cruz will share her vision for the future of women’s sexual health with fellow pioneers in the industry
This year, the Women’s Health Innovation Series is making its way to Asia for the very first time.
Since 2019, the summit has championed leaders that endeavor to address the unmet needs of women through fem-tech and health innovations. This year, it zeroes in on inspiring pioneers in Asia.
Set to take place in Singapore’s Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel from March 22 to March 23, the Women’s Health Innovation Summit Asia is where innovative startups changing the landscape of women’s health in the region are set to gather. Here, proudly Filipino sexual wellness platform Unprude has been handpicked as a finalist.
Founded by the Philippines’ premier sex therapist, Dr. Rica Cruz, Unprude sets itself apart by taking an approach grounded in sex therapy and its scientific principles. The startup has been praised by the body’s Selection Committee for being a “standout startup for their trailblazing work in women’s sexual wellness in the Philippines.” The Women’s Health Innovation Summit Asia shares further in a press release: “The summit offers a great opportunity for Unprude to connect with key leaders and organizations in women’s health, and to showcase their accomplishments and future plans in making a difference in the global sexual wellness space.”

At the summit’s Innovation Showcase, Unprude is joined by Lily of the Valley, Prelude, Biorithm, Junofem, CareNX, Niramai and Periwinkle Technologies. These startup companies, all paving the way to improve the health of women in Asia, are slated to take to the stage and present to over 150 audience members comprised of the summit’s strategic partners, investors, grants and large corporates, NGOs and nonprofits.
“We are thrilled to have been chosen as a finalist for the Women’s Health Innovation Summit Asia,” shares Unprude founder and CEO, Dr. Rica Cruz. “Unprude is dedicated to guiding women with their sexual health that has long been neglected by our society. We believe that having a healthy sense of sexual self will help them not only to become better individuals, but will also strengthen their relationships with their partners, their families and the world around them.”
As Unprude looks forward to sharing its vision for the future of women’s sexual health at the Women’s Health Innovation Summit Asia, it’s just as steadfast about and excited to continue pushing the envelope in the field.
