5 Times BINI Proved They Are The P-Pop Summer Queens

BINI continues to make waves and represent the P-pop scene

On this tropical island, sitting on the white sand, guess we found our love for BINI. Three years after their debut, BINI continues to dominate the music industry and the internet scene. With the release of Pantropiko in November 2023, the song continues to garner attention just in time for the sunny season. The song has over seven million streams on Spotify and has generated numerous dance challenges from netizens including famous K-pop idols.

(Shoutout to ITZY’s Ryujin and Jay from ENHYPEN )

Talent, performance and personality—that’s BINI. And before we deep dive into the pool of their anticipated activities, let’s take a look at some of the moments that proved they are the P-Pop Summer Queens.

The *hype* crowd for BINI at a College Sportsfest

@winvyfajardo Are you hearing the SCREAMS BINI IN CEU MANILA #BINIxCEUSportsFest2024 #BINI @BINI_ph #BINI_Talaarawan #fypシ #fypシ゚viral #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #binicolet #binijhoanna #binimaloi #binigwen #binisheena #binistacey #binimikha #biniaiah #biniph #bini #ppop #ppoprise #pantropiko #pantropikochallenge ♬ Pantropiko – BINI

No one does it like the crowd from this college sportsfest where BINI performed their hits. The audience can’t help but shout “Oh Shux!” and sing-along to Pantropiko. The top notch participation of the crowd even made BINI Maloi tweet, “—nahuhulog ang loob CEU~ WILL NEVER EVER FORGET YOU, ESCOLARIANS ”

BE HU U R and No Fear performance during #StarMagicHotSummer

Star Magic artists came together for the Hot Summer: LaHot Sexy grand party last year, which honored the various ages, shapes, colors and sizes of beauty. BINI started off the event with a Be Hu U R performance to usher the first batch of celebrities. The girl group capped off their performance with No Fear.

BINI’s pre-debut single, Da Coconut Nut

What is summer without a ~sip~ of a refreshing coconut and BINI’s Da Coconut Nut? The purpose of this revival single is to honor its composer, Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, a Filipino singer-composer who is recognized as a National Artist for Music. This well-known novelty song was given a fresh, enjoyable, and lighthearted feel perfect for the summer season!

Pantropiko’s tropical MV

You know it’s *THAT* season when you feel like going to the beach after watching Pantropiko’s music video. In keeping with the song's tropical theme, the music video was shot on a beach in Subic, Zambales. And with Blooms calling it as the SOTY, who knows? It can definitely pass as one!

The release of Talaarawan EP

On March 8 for Women’s Day, BINI formally released Talaarawan, an extended play (EP) with diary-inspired elements that has a lively and refreshing sound. The album Talaarawan comprises six tracks, which include the hits Karera and Pantropiko, as well as Salamin, Salamin, Ang Huling Cha Cha, Na Na Nandito Lang and Diyan Ka Lang.

Merely a few days following the release of a fresh EP, BINI hit a new milestone when its monthly Spotify listener count surpassed one million.

Now, how do 65 Blooms turn into one million Blooms? One thing’s for sure, it's a direct result of the group’s hard work.

See you at their first solo concert!
