A pre-festival playlist to bring your excitement through the roof
In all honesty, my fair share of music festivals only involves an annual, week-long shindig at my old university. While my poor endurance could only last an hour or two per evening, I still know the palpable excitement of waiting for the best nights of your life. Seeing the festival grounds fill up with people and the entrance queue morphing into a winding snake gives your stomach butterflies. The smell of greasy, comfort food wafts through the air, brings back memories like rushing to the stage with a half-eaten Shawarma wrap because your favorite artist is setting up onstage. Now with Head In The Clouds Manila less than a week away, I can feel that all too familiar hype double in my gut. After all, many of us prayed for this moment for a long while.
It’s been a couple of months since we first caught wind of HITC Manila’s lineup of performers, with even more icons joining in just a few weeks to the main event. Can you believe Jessi will grace our country twice in one year!? In that time, many headlining acts released new music that will most likely appear in their sets for the Manila crowd this coming December 9 and 10. So whether Jackson Wang’s Blow made it to your Spotify Wrapped, SB19’s WYAT? (Where You At) is on heavy rotation or BIBI’s Lowlife Princess: Noir has unofficially become your life's soundtrack, you and I will definitely enjoy some of these songs at Head In The Clouds Manila.
