Are you ready for “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)?”
It’s been a wild few days for Taylor Swift fans. The news about Matty Healy replacing Joe Alwyn in her heart (we’re still in denial), said guy making multiple appearances in her Nashville nights, the show going through despite the rain and the announcement of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). Of course, with the last item temporarily diverting our attention from #MatTay, Swifties began to theorize and reminisce about the era that cemented her as a country pop sensation.
With four new songs straight from the vault, we can only sense another wave of nostalgia, reclamation and overall love pouring out of this re-recorded version. It’s rare that people get the chance to listen to their favorite albums like it’s the first time—until Taylor and her updated versions came. I guess this is what they say when you heal your inner child.
