A thought: perhaps de-stressing during a tough month is as simple as hitting “Add to Cart”
Is anyone else feeling particularly frazzled this February? No really, after the slow, painful drag of last month, February feels like it’s locked on double speed in a sprint towards March––sans the runner’s high, that is. While we’re all doing our best to keep our sanity in check and our heads above water, we at Wonder are finding solace in the thought that at least one thing doesn’t have to be so hard: beauty.
Instead of the ultra-complicated, time-consuming approach we often see being taken with beauty, February is making our lives just a little easier where skincare and makeup are concerned. From a pared back, three-step skincare to an all-in-one online shopping hotspot with all our favorite brands, scroll ahead to discover what we’re raving about this month.
Innisfree celebrated its 20th anniversary through fun-filled festivities at the Dessert Museum and even a shopping spree in its flagship store at SM Mall of Asia last February 7. Take part in the celebration with exclusive promos and freebies for the whole month of February. Get discounts for as much as 20% to 50% off selected lines like the Green Tea, Orchid and Pomegranate collection. Score your favorite beauty products at lower prices for a limited time only!
Get special freebies and promos all months at their stores in SM Mall of Asia, SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, SM Southmall, SM Makati, Glorietta 3 and Festival Mall.
In the spirit of staying relevant through the seasons, we do resolution-related articles every time the new year rolls around. We read through plenty of pledges and goals—some more achievable than the others—but one that never quite goes away is the collective desire for better, healthier skin. While the focus might not be flawless, poreless glass skin anymore (it’s difficult to love our imperfections, but we’re trying), most of us are marching towards the same hope of treating our skin better. That means fuss-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free…the list goes on.
Thankfully, Face Republic‘s Pureprep Trio ticks all those boxes, and then some.

Formulated in South Korea, Face Republic delivers all the K-beauty goodness that has hooked many a skincare junkie. Only, there’s a plot twist: The brand’s products are crafted specifically with Filipino skin (and our common, oft climate-triggered skin issues) in mind. Their latest drop, the Pureprep Trio, consists of three products: the Mild Cleansing Water (P299) to gently break down makeup before a second cleanse, the non-stripping pH-Balancing Toner (P399) to dial the skin back to its natural balance after cleansing and the AHA/BHA Toner (P499) that rids the skin’s surface of roughness and dullness to reveal a better complexion all around. All three steps in the regimen are completely free of alcohol, parabens, fragrance. They also steer clear of Benzophenone, an ingredient shown to lead to endocrine disruption, toxicity in organs or even cancer, and Chlorphenesin, which can cause skin irritation. None of that bad stuff here––just simple, clean skincare in picture-perfect, minimalist packaging.
