Belle Mariano and global e-retailer SHEIN present a summer-ready capsule collection
Global e-retail SHEIN unveils the first celebrity capsule collection in the Philippines with their first Filipina Brand Ambassador Belle Mariano. The multi-hyphenate curates pieces that range from feminine matching sets to pastel-colored dresses inspired by “that free-spirited feeling of summer.”
On the creative process behind the #SHEINxBelleMariano capsule collection, Belle reveals that it was a collaborative effort from her team and her SHEIN family. During the launch event at Seltsam in Makati last February 8, she reveals, “Honestly, I wouldn’t have done this alone…It really was a collaborative [effort from] my team and my SHEIN family as well. We’re really very hands on…I’m so grateful and so honored to be part of this. It truly is such a big deal for me. I’ve always admired SHEIN as a global brand; to be able to represent [the Philippines], I’m out of words.”
The style maven dishes foolproof tips for everyday dressing—mixing things up. “I’m a person who likes classic outfits, but I add a twist. I like exploring different colors, different patterns or layering, you know. Tweaking a bit of my outfit para mas mag-pop out ‘yung suot ko (Tweaking a bit of my outfit so it pops out),” she notes.
With summer creeping up on us, Belle chooses comfort above everything. She shares, “My tip [for summer dressing] is to go for outfits that are very comfortable, but at the same time, very stylish.”

She shares, “I personally will go for something very functional and versatile at the same time—something I can wear for the day and…I can wear at night if I’m going out on a date.”

At the end of the day, Belle believes fashion is a form of self-expression. If you want to expand your wardrobe, here’s what she has to say: “Feel free to explore, really. Don’t be afraid [to try new things] because fashion is really a statement. Personally, that’s how I express myself; depending on what I feel today, that’s how I’ll dress up.”
She adds, “Fashion for me is a form of art, of representing yourself. So, don’t be afraid to show who you are.”
