UNIQLO UT Teams Up With Final Fantasy
The brand is set to launch its first collaboration with the game in time for its 35th anniversary.
The widely loved video game Final Fantasy has become a pop culture icon to many, with its decades-old legacy transcending different generations. To celebrate its 35th anniversary, UNIQLO will launch a UT collection featuring characters and icons from all 16 titles of the video game series—including the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI. Fans can begin wearing their favorite characters starting May 6, 2022.

Dolce & Gabbana Collaborates with Jujutsu Kaisen

Speaking of team-ups that bring pop culture and fashion together, luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana collaborates with popular anime title Jujutsu Kaisen for a one-of-a-kind capsule collection. The items feature limited edition tees and exclusive sets inspired by the characters’ designs, bringing together Italian excellence and Japanese street culture. The brand put up a pop-up store in ZeroBase Shibuya, which aligns with one of the major arcs of the manga. In addition, anime director Sunghoo Park created special illustrations of the characters wearing the collection as a treat to fans.
adidas Continues Their Sustainability Pledge with New Collaboration
The brand teams up once again with Parley for the Oceans to reimagine styles for a better tomorrow.
As sustainability in fashion continues to be a hot topic, long-time shoe brand adidas continues its pledge by releasing a new collection with non-profit environmental organization, Parley for the Oceans. The entirety of the Spring/Sumer 2022 collection is made with yarn that is 50% Parley Ocean Plastic—a redefined ocean plastic made up of plastic waste intercepted from shorelines and beaches. The other 50% of the yarn uses recycled polyester.
adidas brings forth two new shoes, reimagining the iconic Nizza silhouette: the Nizza Parley Hi and Nizza Parley Lo. Reimagined takes of the classic Superstar, Stan Smith, ZX 8000, Forum Mid, Forum Low and NMD_R1 are also part of the collection. In addition, two women’s exclusive shoes, the Forum Bold W and Nizza Platform W, also appear in the collection. All shoes come in black and white colorways to step towards helping renew waste.

Known for their comfortable clogs best for all sorts of jobs and terrains, Crocs aims to further push sandals as the next big item. First released in 2021, Crocs’ two-strap Classic Sandal increased the brand’s sales of the particular shoe by 30%, as reported by Women’s Wear Daily. The Cozzzy Sandal made up of the classic, two-strap sandal with a fuzzy inner lining and footbed, is slated as their pilot release for 2022. Of course, this iteration also includes holes for the iconic Jibbitz. Crocs plans to drop more colorways to accommodate more tastes and personalities. Add social media stars Bella Poarch and Bretman Rock to the mix, it’s highly likely that this trend will catch wind sooner or later.
Jordan x Ateneo
Ateneo becomes the first university to partner with the Jordan Brand in Southeast Asia!
Ateneo de Manila University becomes Southeast Asia’s first-ever university and the only university outside of the US to feature the iconic Jordan Jumpman on its jerseys, shorts, tees and jackets. This line of athletic apparel will be the official uniform of the Blue Eagles Basketball Team during the highly anticipated UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) Season 84.
Ateneo, known for its outstanding performance in basketball, has produced some of the best cagers playing in professional leagues today such as Kiefer Ravena. Ravena is also the first Filipino athlete to be signed by the Jordan Brand Family and now plays in the Japan B. League.
In celebration of the partnership, Jordan Brand is launching a series of brand experiences, like viewing parties and basketball clinics, products and services exclusive for its members hosted at the Jordan Manila, BGC store. What’s more, local artists and Ateneo alumni Gica Tam and Mikki dela Rea were commissioned to develop designs for Custom 23, a customization service exclusively available at Jordan Manila.
You can also show your love for the game and your alma mater via the Jordan x Ateneo Men’s and Women’s fan tees, available in limited quantities at Jordan Manila BGC, Titan BGC and Titan22.com.

A new Kenzo store opens and features the latest capsule collection by Artistic Director Nigo
Just in case you missed it, KENZO recently opened its second retail store in Manila, located at the newly renovated wing of Greenbelt 3, which has become a destination for luxury brands.
The new store design is modern and reflects the French label’s fresh approach to retail. From the entrance, visitors are welcomed with KENZO’s new logo. Inside is a visual feast for the eyes due to the interesting juxtaposition of stainless steel baseboards, marble glass panels, cement-colored tiles and plush carpeting.
Meanwhile, exclusive to KENZO Greenbelt 3’s newly opened store is the latest capsule collection by Artistic Director Nigo—the DENIM BOKE FLOWER.
