The Huawei Y7 & Huawei GT 2e: Your Partners In New Normal
Eyes on one of the hottest pairs for the new normal
There are some things that might never go back to normal: the freedom of being out with friends, the carelessness of watching a movie in a theater, the instant gratification of being able to see family—but change does not have to be a bad thing. In the midst of all the overwhelming news, there is still some good to look forward to.
After all, the tech world—and Huawei in particular—is definitely not slowing things down.
The Huawei Y7
With a choice between midnight Black and Aurora Purple, the Huawei Y7 is not only something to look at, it’s something to proudly sport. Easy on the eyes and even easier to hold—we’re talking about 159mm x 77mm x 8mm here—it’s a smartphone that was built for ease and efficiency.
But whatever the look, it’s important to see whether or not the device packs a punch and does everything you need it to. Fortunately for us, the unit is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-core processor and the Android 8.1-based EMUI 8.2 operating system. In terms of internal memory, you’ll automatically have 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, but expandable via a microSD card of up to 512GB.
The Huawei Y7 sports a 13MP and 2MP rear camera system and an 8MP front camera—and a battery of 4000mAh.
The Huawei GT 2e
And then there is the Huawei GT 2e, its stainless steel frame and 1.39-inch AMOLED HD display—which comes in various face designs and colorful straps for more aesthetic options.
Powered by the Kirin A1, which is Huawei’s first self-developed wearable chip, high operation performance and low power consumption is guaranteed. Don’t get scared by this promise though, as the wearable is capable of providing precise fitness and health data and even recognizes up to 15 workout modes, including but not limited to walking, running, cycling, climbing, hiking, swimming, rowing and even exercising on the elliptical.
The GT 2e also takes note of oxygen intake, the effects of your workout (improvements and recovery), training intensity and workout status—it’s pretty much your own personal fitness trainer.
The last few months have made it glaringly obvious that you need people and things you can rely on to keep up with the day-to-day. So if you’re looking to ready yourself for the next phase, there might be no better pair than the Huawei Y7 and the Huawei GT 2e.
